This class is led by Kim Germain, an experienced AKC Trick Dog Evaluator and certified tester for the Alliance of Therapy Dogs. Kim's expertise ensures you and your dog will learn reliable techniques, and the skills mastered in class can directly serve as the foundation for pursuing official AKC Trick Dog titles!
Class Details:
Unleash your dog’s inner superstar! This class is a fun, low-pressure course open to dogs and puppies over the age of 12 weeks. This type of training provides value that extends far beyond just a handful of party tricks. It offers mental enrichment, enhances a dog's balance and proprioception, builds confidence, and strengthens the bond between you and your dog.
The curriculum consists of approximately 12 tricks, and every member of the class can request a specific trick or skill they would like their dog to learn. Examples of tricks include jumping through a hoop, posing for a selfie, leg weaves, rolling over, spin, turning on a light, balancing a treat on the nose, and more.
Don’t forget to bring treats for your pup and a current vaccination record! You will receive both a text message and a welcome email about a week before class begins with all the information you need to be prepared.
There are no refunds for missed classes. If a class must be canceled by North Star, a makeup class will be scheduled.
