Course Description:
This 5-week course is designed for puppies aged 2–6 months and includes access to an extensive library of written tutorials to support your training at home. Build a strong foundation for lifelong learning by teaching essential skills, encouraging confidence, and helping your puppy develop into a well-mannered companion. Topics include:
Sit
Down
Loose leash walking
Recall (coming when called)
Impulse control
And much more!
In addition to these basic skills, you will learn how to address undesired behaviors such as biting, jumping, and chewing without hindering your puppy’s natural growth and curiosity. Puppies will also enjoy safe, structured playtime with others, giving you a chance to explore additional ways to socialize your pup. You’ll receive a comprehensive curriculum, complete with step-by-step tutorials and videos of the skills we practice in class.
What to Bring:

Current vaccination records
American Veterinary Society of Animal Behavior states that puppies are at a critical period of socialization and it should be the standard of care for puppies to receive such socialization before they have finished all their vaccinations. Healthy puppies with age-appropriate vaccines (at least one round) can safely start classes to learn, play, and build confidence during this key developmental window. Family members are welcome and encouraged to attend! Approximately one week before class begins, you will receive a text message and a welcome email with all the details to help you prepare.
Policies:
No refunds or credits will be issued for missed sessions. However, you will receive an email summary of the skills covered, and you can refer to the tutorials included with the course. If North Star cancels a session, a makeup class will be scheduled.
